The A24/Blankenburg connection, a vital mobility corridor in the Rotterdam Rijnmond region of the Netherlands, will launch a cutting-edge electronic tolling (e-TOL) system. Be-Mobile has achieved a significant milestone by becoming accredited for automatic payment. Drivers using Be-Mobile’s trusted applications, such as Flitsmeister and 4411, can now register within one of the apps to enjoy automatic toll payments, improving connectivity and reducing travel times across the region.
A Vital Link for the Rotterdam Rijnmond Region
Set to open on the 7th of December 2024, The Blankenburg connection bridges key urban, industrial and harbor areas, ensuring smoother traffic flows and enhanced accessibility. Be-Mobile’s Mobility Rights Platform enables secure, automated toll payments through license plate recognition technology. The platform’s GDPR-compliant infrastructure ensures high standards of privacy and data security while facilitating seamless integration with the Dutch RDW system and multiple service providers.
This accreditation is the capstone of a process in which Be-Mobile and Flitsmeister have successfully demonstrated they meet all requirements in terms of technology, financial management, assurance, privacy and security.
Drivers can easily register for automated tolling via license plate recognition via the Flitsmeister or 4411 app, enabling a seamless journey and automatic payment on the A24. Instead of having to pay toll every time you drive through the tunnel, the toll transactions are automatically paid via the chosen payment method within the user’s Flitsmeister or 4411 account.
