Be-Mobile and Ambulancezorg Nederland (AZN) have extended their partnership, guaranteeing Be-Mobile's Intelligent Priority service for all ambulances in the Netherlands for another three years. This extension marks three successful years of trust and innovation in emergency response technology.

Since the start of the partnership, AZN has relied on Be-Mobile's advanced C-ITS (Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems) technology to deliver absolute priority at intersections. With this solution, ambulances are given absolute priority at intersections, minimizing delays and helping emergency workers reach their destinations faster and safer. With route-bound functionalities, such as creating a green wave within 90 seconds based on live travel time and speed, Be-Mobile provides a powerful tool for more efficient emergency responses.

• Support for all priority use cases: Absolute priority for emergency services and conditional optimization for public transport.
• Route-bound functionality: Green waves are deployed across intersections reachable within 90 seconds, calculated dynamically using live vehicle speed and travel time.
• Robust route tracking: The platform continuously tracks vehicle positions via Be-Mobile’s route planner or external systems, detecting significant route deviations to ensure accuracy.
• Route nodes logic: Priority requests are triggered based on specific actions, such as passing designated streets, stops, or external triggers (e.g., vehicle doors closing). The platform integrates a wide range of systems to create customized priority flows.
